Armenia’s 1,000 largest taxpayers paid about 1,638.9 billion drams into the state budget in January–September 2026, up 13.9% from a year earlier. A banking analysis published on 27 October by How2B calculates an 11.7% rise in banks’ payments, with Ardshinbank and Ameriabank contributing 44% of the sector’s total.
The comparable total for January–September 2025 was 1,439.3 billion drams, making the increase about 199.6 billion drams. These figures cover the largest 1,000 taxpayers, not Armenia’s total national tax receipts.
The calculation uses the official taxpayer list and puts the 17 commercial banks’ combined payments at 149.2 billion drams, compared with 133.6 billion a year earlier.
For comparison, How2B said Unibank’s payments fell 53%, from 6.0 billion to 2.8 billion drams. It was the only one of the 17 banks whose payments declined.

Azatutyun put Mobile Centre’s year-on-year increase at 22%. It said Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine paid 24.7 billion drams more, an increase of 64%. How2B gave a different growth rate for the combine, 68.16%, as it moved ahead of Grand Tobacco into second place. The combine’s nine-month payments already exceeded the 52.2 billion drams it paid during all of 2025.
Grand Tobacco moved from fifth place at the end of June to third after nine months. Its payments were almost unchanged from January–September 2025, rising 0.6%.
Spayka paid 3.679 billion drams in January–September 2026, down 13.3%, or more than 500 million drams, from the same period in 2025. The agricultural holding organized exports of farmers’ produce and also had substantial production operations of its own.
Azatutyun placed the decline against the backdrop of Russia’s restrictions on agricultural exports from Armenia, which began in May 2026. Spayka’s tax payments had also fallen 45% in the first half of 2026.
The State Revenue Committee said the full list of the 1,000 largest taxpayers and their payments is available on its official website, allowing readers to look up individual taxpayers.
