Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reported about 15,000 more registered jobs in September than in August, alongside an annual increase of roughly 7% in average salaries.

Armenia’s registered job count rose by about 4.9% in September 2026 compared with September 2025, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told the Cabinet on 22 October, describing the growth as another record. The State Revenue Committee put the September total at 845,438 income-generating jobs, an annual increase of 39,751, or 4.9%.
The committee said its total comes from income-tax and social-payment calculations submitted by taxpayers. It measures jobs generating income, not the number of individual people employed.

|---|---|---|
| Registered jobs | August 2026 | Around 15,000 |
