TalkBasket said Jae Crowder made two difficult shots in quick succession during the decisive stretch. Patty Mills and Hugo Besson also made timely three-pointers as ASVEL closed the gap and took the lead.
Partizan coach Joan Peñarroya said his team stopped playing its usual game in the final four or five minutes. The players failed to move and share the ball, chose poor shots and did not get to the free-throw line. He credited ASVEL with continuing to fight for the win and said Partizan had missed a good chance to win away from home.
