JPMorgan Chase’s Security and Resiliency investment group has committed $5 billion of its initial $10 billion allocation, Fortune reports, citing a recent announcement. That amounts to half the money initially allocated to the group.
Todd Combs, who joined JPMorgan in January 2026, leads the group. It forms part of the bank’s Security and Resiliency Initiative, which is aimed at helping companies accelerate manufacturing.
The $5 billion figure represents investment commitments, not a measure of funds already paid out. Which companies will receive the money, on what terms and when remains unclear.
