BBC Sport reports that the Belfast snooker results set up Wilson–Craigie and Williams–Jones semi-finals.

Kyren Wilson, Sam Craigie, Mark Williams and Jak Jones reached the Northern Ireland Open snooker semi-finals in Belfast on Friday, 23 October, BBC Sport reported. Their quarter-final victories leave former champions Wilson and Williams in opposite halves of the draw, with a possible meeting in the final.
Wilson won the tournament in 2024 and Williams in 2017. For Wilson, this is a first semi-final since March 2025 at a ranking event—a tournament that counts towards the world rankings. Craigie reached that stage for only the second time.
The scores below count frames, the individual games within a snooker match.

Wilson built a 4–0 lead before McGill won his only frame. Craigie lost the opening frame to Slessor, then won five in a row on his way to victory.
Williams had to recover from a 3–1 deficit against Gilbert. After the players shared the next two frames, Williams won the final four. He made century breaks—runs of at least 100 points in a single visit to the table—in three consecutive frames.
Jones and Donaldson went to an eleventh and deciding frame. Jones made a break of 84 to secure the last semi-final place.
Wilson next faces Craigie, while Williams takes on Jones. BBC Sport lists Williams–Jones as Saturday’s second semi-final, with the winners of the two matches advancing to the final.

Defending champion Jack Lisowski advances to face Anthony McGill, while Louis Heathcote ends Mark Selby’s bid with a 4–2 first-round win.
