The final chapter of Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign is scheduled to appear in Japan on 4 December 2026, the next issue of Shueisha’s Jump SQ. magazine. The manga began its run in the magazine on 4 September 2012.
The magazine’s December issue announced the date, Anime News Network said. The series had previously announced that it would conclude with collected volume 37, which is separate from the final chapter’s magazine publication.
The story and its creators
Takaya Kagami writes the manga, Yamato Yamamoto illustrates it and Daisuke Furuya provides the storyboards. The series had more than 15 million copies in circulation by October 2022.
The story follows Yūichirō Hyakuya in a world where an unknown virus has killed the adult population and vampires have enslaved the surviving children. He wants to become strong enough to kill the vampires.
Magazine chapters and collected volumes
Shueisha released Japanese volume 36 on 1 May 2026. In North America, Viz Media publishes the manga in print and digitally and is scheduled to release English volume 35 on 10 November 2026.
Viz Media and MANGA Plus also publish new chapters digitally at the same time as their release in Japan, giving English-language readers a way to follow the magazine run.
