Toyota is recalling 228,367 Sienna Hybrid vehicles in the US over seat backs that may fail to stay locked during a crash. The recall covers certain 2022–2026 model-year vehicles, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on October 27, in a Reuters report carried by CNA.
The force of certain frontal crashes could disengage a seat back from its locked position. That could prevent the seat from properly restraining its occupants and increase their risk of injury.
Dealers will update software or replace seat backs free of charge, depending on the vehicle’s configuration.
The satellite operator expects access to more than twice OneWeb’s current bandwidth in return for spending in 2027–2034, with initial IRIS² services expected from 2030.
