Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu has received a 2-year ban for three anti-doping whereabouts failures. The International Testing Agency initially suspended her for missing tests between September and December 2025, BBC Sport said.

The ban runs from 5 May 2026, the date of her provisional suspension. Barbosu appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, which upheld the decision after a hearing in August. The testing agency manages World Gymnastics' anti-doping program.
