Bethesda reveals The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel title and logo
The developer says work continues and more information is some time away. The reveal gives the game a name but no release date or window.

Bethesda Game Studios revealed the title The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel and its logo on 3 November 2026, in a video marking Bethesda’s 40th anniversary. Todd Howard, the series’ longtime director, presented the video.
The game follows The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Bethesda first teased it at E3 2018 with an image of hills; the new reveal adds a subtitle and logo to that earlier glimpse.
What the teaser shows
At the end of the anniversary video, the teaser shows a scroll buried in sand, followed by the logo and a quotation attributed to a fictional moth priest named Yazar. In the series’ world, Sentinel is a city and a kingdom in Hammerfell, a province on the fictional continent of Tamriel.
Bethesda described the announcement as revealing the game’s “name and location.” Engadget interpreted Hammerfell as the likely main setting and suggested the story might explore the ancient origins of the Elder Scrolls; those plot details were not explicitly confirmed.
What comes next
Bethesda said development continues but that it will be “some time” before it is ready to share more, IGN said. The reveal did not include a release date or window, or show actual gameplay footage.
