Armenian grandmaster Elina Danielian won the individual silver medal on Board 3 at the 30th European Women’s Chess Club Cup in Budva, Montenegro. The Chess Federation of Armenia confirmed on 26 October that she scored five points from seven games and that her Luxembourg club, CE Gambit Bonnevoie, finished runner-up.
The Board 3 medal recognised Danielian’s individual result in the third playing position in her team’s lineup, separate from the club’s overall placing.
