My Chemical Romance has earned its first Billboard 200 No. 1 with The Black Parade following the album’s 20th-anniversary deluxe reissue.
The album originally debuted and peaked at No. 2, remaining the band’s highest-charting release until this result. Billboard says its 20-year wait to reach the top is the longest ever for an album.
The Black Parade is the third studio album by the American rock band from New Jersey. It was originally released on 23 October 2006.
The album rose from No. 139 on the chart dated 7 November 2026. It earned 78,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the tracking week ending 29 October 2026, using Luminate figures cited by Middermusic.
Middermusic said the band’s tour performing the album is scheduled to end on 22 November 2026 in Indonesia. Lead vocalist Gerard Way told an audience that the band plans to make a new record in 2027.

The Black Parade’s anniversary reissue improves on its original No. 2 peak, while Jamie Miller’s “Babydoll” holds No. 1 on the singles chart for a second consecutive week.
