Jokic reaches 200 triple-doubles as Miami gets its first win
Eurohoops said Nikola Jokic recorded his 200th regular-season triple-double with 21 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists in Denver’s road victory. It put him second only to Russell Westbrook, whose record stood at 209.
A triple-double means reaching double figures in three statistical categories in one game. Jokic reached that mark in points, rebounds and assists, finishing with exactly the 10 assists needed. Denver built a 22-point lead before New Orleans cut the gap to five in the fourth quarter, but held on to win.
Victor Wembanyama led San Antonio with 36 points, 14 rebounds and five assists. He scored 21 points before halftime and finished with 14 successful shots from 25 attempts, including four three-pointers, plus three steals and two blocks.
Utah scored the opening basket of overtime, but the Spurs answered with 12 consecutive points. The victory extended San Antonio’s winning streak to three games.
Giannis Antetokounmpo contributed 24 points and 18 rebounds as Miami beat Atlanta for its first win of the season. He also finished with three assists, a steal and a block.
Curry closes out Minnesota’s comeback attempt
Curry also collected eight rebounds, while Yaxel Lendeborg added 26 points. Former Warrior Jonathan Kuminga led Minnesota with 20.
Golden State led by as many as 24 points, but Minnesota outscored the Warriors 66–55 in the second half. Bones Hyland banked in a shot to cut the gap to three in the final seconds before Curry made two free throws to finish the scoring. Golden State improved to two wins and three losses; Minnesota lost its second straight game after a 3–0 start.
Philadelphia turns a 13-point deficit into victory
In Indianapolis, the 76ers trailed 88–75 entering the fourth quarter, then outscored Indiana 39–21 over the final 12 minutes. Anfernee Simons made a three-pointer 18 seconds into the period and another during a 26–8 run that put Philadelphia ahead 101–96 with 4:24 remaining.
Simons finished with 20 points off the bench. Tyrese Maxey led Philadelphia with 27 and made two three-pointers in the final 1:10 to secure its fourth win in five games. Indiana suffered its second consecutive defeat.
Cleveland rallies as Dybantsa scores 19 on debut
Top overall draft pick AJ Dybantsa led visiting Washington with 19 points in his NBA debut in Cleveland. He made eight of 12 shots in 27 minutes and added two rebounds and two assists.
Dybantsa was Gatorade’s Massachusetts boys’ high-school player of the year in 2023. He played one college season at Brigham Young University (BYU), leading the nation in scoring in 2025–26, before Washington selected him first overall in the 2026 NBA draft, the league’s selection of incoming players.
Evan Mobley had 24 points and 12 rebounds, including 10 points in the fourth quarter. Peyton Watson scored a season-high 22, while Donovan Mitchell contributed 19 points and seven assists.
Washington led by 13 in the third quarter, but Mitchell’s two free throws tied the score at 92–92 entering the fourth. Mobley’s dunk then gave Cleveland its first lead since the opening quarter. Dybantsa later put Washington ahead 105–104 before Cleveland scored nine consecutive points to finish its three-game home stretch unbeaten.
