The One About Matthew Perry led Netflix’s global English-language TV chart in its opening weekend, while the French drama Lupin Part 4 topped the non-English TV list and all series for 26 October–1 November 2026.

The series leaders
The three-part documentary about the late actor Matthew Perry features new testimony from people close to him and collaborators. Its opening-weekend audience was just over 30% larger than that of the second-place series, Nobody Wants This Season 3, which had 7.2 million views.
Lupin, which stars Omar Sy, also returned its three earlier installments to the non-English TV top 10: Part 1 placed second, Part 2 sixth and Part 3 eighth. The latest part’s audience was below the 14.1 million views Part 3 received in its second week of availability.
The film leaders
Animals is a crime thriller directed by Ben Affleck about a Los Angeles mayoral candidate and his wife trying to raise a ransom after their son is kidnapped. Surviving Hurricane Otis, a Mexican drama directed by Jorge Michel Grau, follows two half-brothers trapped on a yacht in Acapulco during a storm; it is inspired by a real incident.
How the rankings work
Netflix calculates views by dividing the total hours watched by a title’s runtime. It ranks films and TV separately by language and measures each season of a series separately. The reporting week runs from Monday through Sunday, with the next weekly lists due on Tuesday.
