Alisha Palmowski clinched the 2026 F1 Academy championship by finishing second to Alba Larsen in the reverse-grid race at Circuit of the Americas in Austin. Nina Gademan won the feature race, completing the three-race United States Grand Prix weekend.
Palmowski had extended her championship lead by winning the opening race. The opening-race results, published on 23 October, put Gademan second and Larsen third.
Payton Westcott and Natalia Granada completed the feature-race podium. Already-crowned champion Palmowski and reverse-grid winner Larsen did not finish; the classification placed them 16th and 17th respectively.

Larsen’s reverse-grid victory was her first in F1 Academy. Motorsport Week said Palmowski became the championship’s youngest-ever winner.
| Position | Opening race | Reverse-grid race | Gap (seconds) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Alisha Palmowski | Alba Larsen | Winner |
| 2 | Nina Gademan | Alisha Palmowski | 2.3 |
| 3 | Alba Larsen | Lisa Billard | 4.0 |
Rafaela Ferreira started first, with Jade Jacquet alongside her. Jacquet took the lead before Ferreira fought back. In its 24 October race account, Motorsport Week said Ferreira clipped Jacquet as they raced side by side, sending Jacquet spinning out of the race. The collision brought out the safety car, which slows the field while an incident is dealt with, and Larsen took the lead. Ferreira was under investigation for the contact. Palmowski passed Lisa Billard for second on lap 10 while Larsen remained unchallenged in front, securing the title with one race of the weekend remaining.

The appeal tribunal removed an additional suspended spectator ban, but each club must still play its next home Scottish Cup tie without fans and pay the visiting side £100,000.
