The deal covers more than 60 hours, with Blippi Season 1, CoComelon’s JJ’s Animal Time Season 1 and Little Angel scheduled to arrive on 1 November 2026.

Paramount+ has acquired non-exclusive rights to Moonbug Entertainment children’s series from the CoComelon and Blippi franchises. The agreement covers more than 60 hours of programming without giving Paramount+ sole rights to the shows.
Variety said this is Paramount+’s first agreement to add Moonbug programming.
Moonbug, a British children’s media company, bought CoComelon and Blippi on 31 July 2020. Candle Media, led by Kevin Mayer and Tom Staggs, acquired Moonbug in November 2021.
The Paramount+ deal covers CoComelon spinoffs, not the flagship
Several acquired shows already have other streaming homes. CoComelon’s JJ’s Animal Time, CoComelon’s The Melon Patch and Little Angel are available on Netflix and Disney+. Blippi and Meekah are also on Netflix, Hulu and Prime Video, while Little Baby Bum is also on Netflix.
In a separate report on 25 May 2025, TheWrap said, citing people familiar with the decision, that the flagship CoComelon series would begin streaming on Disney+ in 2027. That reported move concerns the main show, rather than the separately titled JJ’s Animal Time and The Melon Patch spinoffs acquired by Paramount+.
Where and when the shows arrive
The shows are scheduled for Paramount’s streaming platforms in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, France, Italy and Latin America.
Nicolas Eglau, Moonbug’s managing director for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific and global distribution, said the partnership aims to bring its brands to more families. He said Moonbug believes its programming complements Paramount+’s children’s and family lineup.
