S-Game says Phantom Blade Zero sold 4 million copies within 72 hours of going on sale. IGN cited the game’s official social account in its November 2 report on the developer’s announcement.
The action game draws on wuxia, a Chinese martial-arts storytelling tradition. Its opening followed the launch date of 29 October given in GamesRadar+’s October 27 launch guide.
Steam activity peaked at 833,921 simultaneous players on Sunday and that the game topped the storefront’s best-selling games chart by revenue. The player count measures people playing at the same time on Steam; the chart ranks revenue. Neither is a count of copies sold across platforms.
Separately, an estimate from the previous week put prelaunch sales above 1 million copies across Steam, PlayStation 5 and Tencent’s WeGame, an online PC storefront in China. That was an earlier estimate, rather than the developer’s announced opening sales total.
For players waiting for a physical copy, S-Game has announced a PlayStation 5 edition for 2027, as GamesRadar+ said in its October 27 guide.

The studio plans to liquidate its assets and settle its liabilities after shareholders approved its dissolution. The future of its intended debut, Gang of Dragon, remains unresolved.
