Katerina Siniakova beat Ashlyn Krueger 6–1, 6–0 in the Japan Open women’s singles final in Osaka, Japan, on October 25, 2026. The victory gave her a sixth career singles title and her first since the 2023 Jiangxi Open in Nanchang, China.
Siniakova broke the 22-year-old American’s serve six times—winning six games in which Krueger served—and completed the match in 64 minutes. Krueger won just one game across the two sets.
The 30-year-old Czech player also has 39 career doubles titles. Those include the US Open women’s doubles title she won with Taylor Townsend in September 2026; the Osaka victory adds a singles trophy to that recent doubles success.

BBC Sport reports that doubles world number one Siniakova and 2023 champion Ashlyn Krueger will meet for the women’s singles title in Osaka on Sunday.
