Sportscar365 reports that rival Patrik Fraboni’s crash before the final race settled the overall championship, while Leipert Motorsport’s crews won both Monza races.

DL Racing’s Kevin Gilardoni and Simone Iaquinta secured the 2026 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe overall championship before the final race began at Monza, Sportscar365 reported on October 23. Their title was assured when rival Silas Rytter’s teammate, Patrik Fraboni, crashed on the way to the starting grid for the wet second race.
A first-corner collision involving Rytter in the opening race had already helped the DL Racing pair’s championship chances. Gilardoni and Iaquinta finished that race second, putting them close to the title before Fraboni’s crash settled it. Gilardoni claimed his second overall championship and Iaquinta his first.
The race victories went to two Leipert Motorsport pairings rather than the champions. Brendon Leitch and Nicolas Stati won the opener after Iaquinta ran wide at the second Lesmo corner on the penultimate lap, allowing Stati through. Iaquinta finished just 0.062 seconds behind.
Gilardoni and Iaquinta later received penalties for a slightly too-short pit stop and for Gilardoni cutting a corner, but retained second place. Henri Tuomaala and Matias Salonen finished third.
Tuomaala and Salonen then won the rain-affected second race. Sportscar365 reported that their early pit stop gave them a substantial advantage; they finished ten seconds ahead of Stati and Leitch. The already-crowned champions started at the back, reached the midfield and were classified 16th after a ten-second penalty for Iaquinta unbuckling his seatbelts too early.
Alongside the overall championship, Monza decided the series’ Pro-Am, Am and LB Cup class titles. Sportscar365 reported the following championship outcomes.

Brendon Leitch and Nicolas Stati win the Pro title from ninth on the grid at Monza. Lewandowski retains his Am crown after a reprimand, while Rocky T Bolduc takes the LB Cup title.

Race wins and season titles went to different drivers in the Am class: Auto Sport Racing’s Andrzej Lewandowski won both Monza races. In the LB Cup, six crews arrived with championship chances; Moller and Ostegaard secured the title after finishing the second race behind Scuderia Villorba Corse’s Claude-Yves Gosselin.
The European season championships were settled ahead of the Lamborghini World Finals at Monza.

Zhicong Li and Titus Sherlock won the wet finale, while Tregurtha finished just ahead of his championship rival to secure the season title.
