Aerosmith is rehearsing for concerts at the Hollywood Bowl on October 29 and November 1, 2026, guitarist Joe Perry said in a social-media statement quoted by Deadline on October 23. Perry described the engagements as the band’s first performances together in three years.
The return follows Aerosmith’s August 2024 announcement that it would not resume touring. At the time, the band cited singer Steven Tyler’s injured voice and inability to recover, Deadline reported. Aerosmith announced the two Hollywood Bowl concerts on October 7, 2026.
Deadline names Slash and Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses, the surviving members of Run DMC, Billy Idol and the Black Crowes among the announced guests. The lineup also includes Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell, Heart and Eric Church, with more guests indicated. The performers are set to draw on Aerosmith’s five-decade catalogue.
Aerosmith has not said whether it plans a subsequent tour or another Las Vegas residency—a series of concerts at one venue. The announced return consists of the two Hollywood Bowl engagements, beginning October 29 and continuing with the second show on November 1.

The black, gold and green edition follows September’s sold-out preorders. Nintendo’s replenished launch-day stock also quickly sold out.
