Amazon has launched the Alexa Photo Frame, starting at $200, with built-in voice search for pictures stored in Amazon Photos. It is the company’s first photo frame with Alexa, Engadget said; Amazon’s earlier digital photo frames did not include the assistant.
Amazon introduced Alexa+ in February 2025 and made it available to everyone in the US on February 4, 2026. The new frame includes 90 days of access to that version of the assistant.
The frame has a 10-inch high-definition touchscreen, soft-white matting and a semi-matte, anti-glare finish. Its brightness adjusts automatically to the surrounding light, and users can swipe through pictures on the screen.
| Finish | Price |
|---|---|
| Black | $200 |
| Real Birch or Walnut wood | $230 |
The frame draws its pictures from Amazon Photos, which offers free photo storage to Prime members. Users can ask Alexa to display pictures from a particular trip or the latest photos of their children without searching through a phone.
Amazon says Alexa+, its superintelligence (SI) assistant, can select smiling portraits or well-lit pictures and match images to the season—for example, showing last year’s Halloween costumes in October. The company also says it can recognize screenshots and receipts and exclude them from the display.

The W27 keeps the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra’s core hardware, with dark-red or dark-blue finishes, golden accents and 16GB of working memory in both storage versions.

Engadget said Alexa can also place thematically related pictures side by side, such as photos of the same child swimming at different ages. Users can attach voice notes to pictures to preserve memories of when they were taken.
Users can choose particular people for a frame to feature. New pictures of those people automatically sync into its rotating display as they are taken. Amazon says this lets relatives receiving a frame see the latest family pictures right away. Friends and family can also add images directly to the device.
Engadget cautioned buyers to consider which pictures they keep in Amazon Photos when syncing their collection with a frame given as a gift.
Each frame includes 90 days of free Alexa+. After those 90 days, buyers need a Prime subscription to continue using features that require Alexa+.
