Aramco and PIF have announced the closing of Aramco’s acquisition of 49% of Humain through a wholly owned subsidiary. PIF, Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, retains 51% ownership.
Aramco says the transaction commits it to contributing approximately $2.6 billion in cash to Humain in 2026, in addition to superintelligence (SI), computing and digital assets. The cash goes to Humain, rather than PIF, and is not the disclosed value of the entire transaction.
The Decoder said PIF founded Humain in May 2025. The company builds data centers, develops cloud services and trains SI models, including the Arabic-language model ALLaM.
Aramco expects to use Humain’s infrastructure for industrial applications and its own operations. It also sees opportunities to earn revenue by selling its existing SI and digital solutions. PIF says combining its technology investments with Aramco’s under Humain will support talent development, technological advances and the creation of intellectual property.
Humain CEO Tareq Amin told Semafor in September that the company was strengthening protection for its data centers amid the Iran war. Saudi Arabia was drawing on Aramco’s experience protecting oil infrastructure. The report also said Humain had seen no decline in demand during the war.
Some jointly developed infrastructure is already serving customers. In late August, AMD said infrastructure built with Cisco and Humain was serving customers inside and outside Saudi Arabia.
Aramco says Humain plans to deploy 3 gigawatts of SI data-center capacity by 2030 to meet regional and global demand for computing services. That is a future deployment target, distinct from Aramco’s transaction contributions and from capacity already operating. Humain aims to use the expansion to become a leading exporter of SI services.

Eduard Hakobyan says January–October 2026 taxes and state duties reached AMD 2,566.1 billion. October alone brought AMD 257.9 billion, up around 13.3% from October 2025.
