beabadoobee earned her first top-ten album on the Billboard 200 as Pylon debuted at No. 7 on the chart dated October 3, 2026. The album recorded 36,000 equivalent album units, including 25,000 copies sold in the United States. Those purchases gave the singer and songwriter her best US album-sales week, Billboard reported, citing Luminate data for the week ending September 24.
Vinyl accounted for 16,000 of the 25,000 copies sold, marking beabadoobee’s best vinyl-sales week. Pylon entered both the Vinyl Albums and Top Album Sales charts at No. 2.
Billboard said the range of available editions helped first-week sales. Buyers could choose from 10 vinyl variants, including signed editions; three CD variants, including a signed edition; two cassettes; and a download.
Top Album Sales counts only album purchases. The Billboard 200 uses equivalent album units, which combine album purchases with individual track purchases and listening through streaming services. One unit equals one album sale, 10 tracks bought from an album, or 2,500 ad-supported or 1,000 paid/subscription on-demand streams of its songs. The streaming calculation covers official audio and video.
The 25,000 album sales are therefore part of Pylon’s 36,000-unit total, not an extra amount. The reported figures leave approximately 11,000 units from track purchases and streaming combined. Billboard did not report a split between those two categories, so that remainder cannot be described as streaming alone.
Pylon reached the top ten on seven Billboard charts, but those rankings measure overlapping activity. Alongside the overall chart and purchase-based rankings, the album appeared on three rock and alternative charts and a chart for sales at independent and small-chain record stores. These are different views of the same album’s performance, not seven separate sales totals.

The black, gold and green edition follows September’s sold-out preorders. Nintendo’s replenished launch-day stock also quickly sold out.
