Streaming chief Casey Bloys has put Sarah Aubrey in charge of all Paramount+ programming while keeping her responsibility for Max Originals, her current series and international programming. His 23 October staff memo also gives HBO drama chief Francesca Orsi an expanded role in choosing projects with him, according to the memo reproduced by Variety and Deadline.
The appointments follow Bloys taking charge of content for the combined streaming operation after the services’ parent companies merged on 6 October, Deadline reported. Aubrey previously headed original programming at HBO Max; her expanded title is head of Paramount+, Max Originals and International Programming.
Orsi is promoted from executive vice president to president of HBO Drama Series and Films. She retains oversight of the development and production of all HBO dramatic programming for HBO Max, separate from Aubrey’s Max Originals responsibilities. Her expanded role includes working with Bloys to decide which incoming drama projects best fit HBO.
Glenn Whitehead becomes president and chief operating officer of HBO and Paramount+, overseeing business affairs, production and operations across both streaming platforms. He previously led business affairs and production at HBO and HBO Max.
Jane Wiseman, Paramount+ executive vice president and head of originals, is leaving rather than joining the new structure. She joined the service in August 2025, Variety reported. Her team will report to Aubrey, according to Deadline. Bloys praised Wiseman’s development slate and said she had offered to help with the transition.

The black, gold and green edition follows September’s sold-out preorders. Nintendo’s replenished launch-day stock also quickly sold out.

The leadership changes do not combine the streaming platforms. Bloys said HBO Max and Paramount+ must maintain their respective momentum until the company is ready to bring them together. He said clearly defining team responsibilities would help writers, producers and other creative partners understand where different programming belongs.
Skydance chief executive David Ellison said in October that the platforms would first remain separate but be offered together in a bundle, according to Deadline. Deadline reports an expectation that the services will coexist for one to two years; that timetable is unconfirmed.
Aubrey is assigned to work with Bloys and Skydance leadership on aligning Paramount+ with HBO Max. Bloys also asked the newly named leaders to begin contacting their teams if they had not already done so.

Her 16 September–October shows grossed $125.5 million and sold 539,000 tickets, setting records for revenue and attendance per performance.
