Roundabout Theatre Company presents Irwin’s adaptation of Molière’s comedy, directed by Brandon J. Dirden in his Broadway directorial debut. Irwin plays Argan, a man preoccupied with his ailments who plans to marry his daughter to a doctor to save on medical bills. His daughter wants a different life.
Irwin is known for theatrical clowning as well as dramatic acting. He won a Tony Award for playing George in the 2005 revival of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
The weekly gross measures ticket revenue before costs, rather than profit. Roundabout lists the remaining engagement through November 22, 2026, at the Todd Haimes Theatre, 227 West 42nd Street in New York. Performances run 90 minutes without an intermission.

The black, gold and green edition follows September’s sold-out preorders. Nintendo’s replenished launch-day stock also quickly sold out.
