Real Madrid beat Barcelona 2–1 at Spotify Camp Nou on October 25, with Kylian Mbappé scoring both goals to move Madrid within three points of the LaLiga leaders. His 87th-minute winner decided the Clásico, the name given to matches between the two clubs.
Barcelona had won all nine of their previous league games. Their first defeat left Madrid on 24 points after 10 matches, one point behind second-placed Atlético Madrid.
| Position | Club | Points |

Mbappé opened the scoring just before halftime after Gerard Martín’s attempted clearance struck him, allowing him to finish. Yan Diomande had supplied the cross, playing with Vinícius Junior absent through suspension.
Raphinha equalized from a worked corner in the 61st minute. Five minutes later, Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin saved a Martín header to keep the score level. Lunin was playing because Thibaut Courtois was ill.
Madrid remained dangerous when they won the ball and attacked quickly. Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga combined for the winner, with Camavinga setting up Mbappé to finish into an empty net. Camavinga had come on after 80 minutes.

Julián Álvarez’s first league goal of the season gives Atlético a sixth straight win, taking the club to 25 points in second place.

The winning goal was Mbappé’s 100th for Madrid. He became the 24th player to reach that total for the club and the fourth fastest to do so.
It’s a great game but it’s only three points.
Mbappé’s two goals came the day before the Ballon d’Or ceremony, scheduled for October 26, with the Madrid player among the contenders for the award.

A reported agreement requires referees to answer Movistar and DAZN questions after two matches per round, starting in round 11 of the 2026/27 season.
