The safety company says hackers copied months of data and may have exposed sensitive personal details. Police forces in Ontario have suspended use of the service.

Navigate360 acknowledged on October 23, 2026, that hackers had entered one of its systems and copied months’ worth of data. The safety company said sensitive identity information had potentially been exposed in the breach involving its crime-tip platform, P3 Global Intel.
The acknowledgment came seven months after a hacker claimed to have stolen data from the platform. In March, Navigate360 said it was investigating “whether we have experienced an incident” and declined further comment.
Navigate360’s statement said names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers and other sensitive information had potentially been exposed. That disclosure identifies a risk to personal information, but does not establish how many people or confidential submissions were affected.
The hacker’s March claim was that the stolen material amounted to 93 gigabytes of data, including eight million confidential tips. Those figures remain the hacker’s claim, not a total confirmed by Navigate360.
Reuters reported that police forces in Ontario, Canada, suspended use of the service after a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation report found that hundreds of thousands of Canadian tipsters had been exposed in the breach.
Officials in Nevada and Canada had recently told media that Navigate360 provided only partial information despite repeated requests, Reuters reported. Navigate360 did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for further details about the hack or the timing of its announcement. The company has not disclosed a confirmed affected total or explained the seven-month delay in acknowledging the breach.
