Knight Edge Media says Peter Claffey has been cast as Beast in Marvel’s new X-Men film, as relayed by Polygon. Claffey plays Sir Duncan in HBO’s A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
Beast is an X-Men character known for his animal-like appearance and intellect. Kelsey Grammer played him in earlier films, while Nicholas Hoult played a younger version in the prequels.
Knight Edge Media also says Renate Reinsve met with Marvel about playing Moira MacTaggert. A meeting does not mean she has been cast. The new X-Men film is scheduled for theatrical release on May 5, 2028.
The black, gold and green edition follows September’s sold-out preorders. Nintendo’s replenished launch-day stock also quickly sold out.
