Queens of the Stone Age are scheduled to perform with Interpol at Mexico City’s Estadio de los Deportes on 6 March 2027, Billboard Español said in its October 30 interview with the band’s vocalist, Josh Homme.
The publication describes the booking as the California band’s first Mexico City concert outside a festival since 2014, offering fans a non-festival appearance with Interpol.
Homme said Mexico felt both like an exotic destination and like home. He linked that familiarity with Mexican culture to growing up in Southern California.
He described Interpol, a New York alternative-rock band, as a good musical match because of its dark sound. He also pointed to what he saw as Interpol’s intense relationship with Mexico City and Mexico as a reason the bands had discussed performing together.
Grupo Animal said a presale had been scheduled for 24 September, requiring a code sent to members of Interpol’s official fan community. General sales had been scheduled for 25 September through Superboletos.
The announced prices ranged from 1,057 to 5,815 Mexican pesos, depending on the seating area. Those amounts included service charges but excluded an additional processing charge. Current ticket availability is unclear.
Billboard’s itinerary places the Mexico City show before Queens of the Stone Age’s headline appearances at Lollapalooza in Argentina, Chile and Brazil. The band’s spring 2027 US arena tour is then scheduled to begin 1 May in San Diego, with the North American leg ending 24 May in Boston.

The publisher’s total includes preorders and release-day English-language print and ebook purchases for A Court of Splintered Harmony, which set Maas’ personal launch-sales record.
