Fans seeking tickets for the St. James’ Park shows face a one-day delay, with the Gigantic presale rescheduled for 9:30 a.m. on October 29.

Singer-songwriter Sam Fender postponed the Gigantic presale for his Newcastle homecoming concerts on October 28, moving it to October 29 at 9:30 a.m.
Fender, who was born and raised in North Shields, is scheduled to open his Proper Massive tour at Newcastle’s St. James’ Park on June 3, 2027. The tour covers the UK and Ireland in June and July.
Fender said on Instagram Stories that promoters had told him a “sophisticated bot attack” was affecting Gigantic’s ticket site and the Newcastle presale. He said the postponement was intended “to ensure real fans get the tickets”. Billboard said it had asked the shows’ promoters, SJM Concerts and Communion One, for comment.
Billboard said presales for the remaining tour shows, handled by Ticketmaster, were reported unaffected. Its October 28 account described three affected Newcastle shows; NME’s October 25 report had listed two homecoming concerts.
Fender objected on October 23 to prices he said had risen beyond what he intended, and said he had not known about plans for a separate premium standing area. On October 24, he announced lower prices and the removal of that section, NME said in its October 25 report. Fender said anyone buying a standing ticket would have the same chance to reach the front.

The black, gold and green edition follows September’s sold-out preorders. Nintendo’s replenished launch-day stock also quickly sold out.

Fender’s official ticket FAQ says fans who bought the album or entered the presale through his official store were due to receive a unique code by email before 8 p.m. GMT on October 27. It advises checking spam folders if the email is missing.
The FAQ lists a maximum of six tickets per person in its presale section, with detailed rules limiting each household to six tickets per show date. Presale access does not guarantee tickets. The general sale for all shows remains scheduled for October 30 at 9:30 a.m., subject to availability.
