Skydance TV co-chair and chief content officer George Cheeks has given Channing Dungey oversight of more than 50 cable brands while keeping her in charge of Warner Bros. Television Group. His October 28 leadership memo also creates Skydance TV Studios to bring three television studio groups under one structure. Cheeks said the announced leaders report to him.
The Paramount–Warner Bros. Discovery merger closed on October 6. Cheeks’s first staff memo that day, published by Variety, described the combined television business but did not yet set out its structure.
Skydance Global Sports Group chairman David Berson has named the leadership team for the combined sports operations spanning CBS Sports, TNT Sports and WBD Sports, according to his roster published by Deadline. Jeff Gerttula becomes executive vice president and managing director, overseeing digital, international, strategy and business development for sports. Craig Barry becomes executive vice president and chief content officer, responsible for all production—including remote, live-event and studio production—as well as on-air talent, features, creative content, graphics and editorial. Berson’s memo says the international structure and operating model remain under assessment, with Gerttula serving as the point person for international sports teams. Deadline also reports six departures in the reorganization: TNT Sports communications and talent chief Nate Smeltz; CBS production executive vice president Harold Bryant; TNT Sports chief financial officer Sophia Constantinides; TNT Sports Ventures president Patrick Crumb; TNT Sports human resources senior vice president Donald Knight; and TNT senior vice president of strategic partnerships Raphael Poplock.
The black, gold and green edition follows September’s sold-out preorders. Nintendo’s replenished launch-day stock also quickly sold out.

Dungey retains Warner Bros. Television Group’s scripted, unscripted and animation studios. Her added cable responsibilities cover brands including HGTV, Food Network, TNT, BET and MTV. The Hollywood Reporter also published the leadership memo on October 28.
Cheeks shares the Skydance TV chairmanship with chief business officer JB Perrette. For cable channels outside the United States, Dungey reports to Cheeks on programming and to Perrette on operations.
Bryon Rubin becomes Skydance TV’s chief operating officer, working with division leaders on strategy and operations. He retains CBS’s domestic programme-syndication business, which licenses shows to other broadcasters, and adds oversight of CBS Television Stations. Station-group president Jennifer Mitchell will work with Rubin, report separately to Cheeks on some matters and join Cheeks’s senior leadership team.
David Berson continues to lead Skydance’s Global Sports Group, overseeing live sports across CBS Sports, TNT Sports and WBD Sports. Outside the United States, he works with Perrette and the international team. Amy Reisenbach continues to lead CBS Entertainment, while Tom Cibrowski retains oversight of CBS News’s broadcast, streaming and digital operations.
Her 16 September–October shows grossed $125.5 million and sold 539,000 tickets, setting records for revenue and attendance per performance.
