Fox Corporation-owned streaming service Tubi has agreed to show two Major League Soccer (MLS) matches live and free in the United States on 7 November 2026. Tubi, MLS and Apple announced the arrangement on October 29. Viewers will not need a paid subscription.
The games fall on Decision Day, MLS’s final regular-season matchday, when results can determine playoff qualification and positioning.
MLS’s streaming partnership with Apple began in the 2023 season under an originally announced 10-year agreement granting Apple global streaming rights.

Inside World Football said Tubi will use MLS’s existing production for Apple TV rather than create separate coverage. Financial terms have not been disclosed. Apple’s MLS rights agreement runs through the 2028-29 season.
Both matches will also remain available on Apple TV.
Seth Bacon, MLS’s executive vice president of media, said the league wants to reach new fans and ultimately bring them to Apple TV to watch more matches. Apple holds the rights, he said, so MLS coordinates its distribution arrangements with the company.

Unnamed sources say Spotify is targeting the first quarter of 2027 for a paid tool that would let subscribers create their own versions of licensed songs.

Tubi chief content officer Adam Lewinson said the partnership makes Decision Day easier to experience for existing supporters and first-time viewers. Apple vice president Oliver Schusser said it gives audiences another opportunity to discover MLS.
Earlier MLS experiments included Messi-focused TikTok streams, simulcasts in the EA FC mobile app and alternative broadcasts with podcasters The Cooligans on Yahoo Sports.
The confirmed Tubi arrangement covers only the two Decision Day games. No additional playoff distribution deal was in place on October 30, Inside World Football said. Bacon said “nothing is off the table right now.”
Fox’s existing television agreement ends after the 2026 season. It has provided 34 regular-season simulcasts a year on Fox and FS1 during the Apple era. Talks continue over television coverage for 2027, beginning with the Sprint Season before MLS switches to its new calendar.
MLS says the playoffs begin on 18 November, with matches available on Apple TV. The MLS Cup final is scheduled for 18 December on Apple TV and Fox.
