Pei set 2 world records, while final men’s 85 kg standings put Armenia’s Rafik Harutyunyan 22nd with 345 kg and Martin Poghosyan 23rd with 337 kg.

China’s Pei Xinyi won women’s 61 kg gold and set 2 world records at the 2026 World Weightlifting Championships in Ningbo, in the results published on 1 November.
Armenia’s Rafik Harutyunyan and Martin Poghosyan now have confirmed final overall places in the men’s competition. Earlier standings covered Groups B and C while Group A had yet to compete; the Armenian Weightlifting Federation’s press service has since confirmed the final results.
The combined total adds each lifter’s best successful snatch and clean and jerk. In the snatch, the bar goes overhead in one movement; in the clean and jerk, the lifter first brings it to the shoulders, then lifts it overhead.
| Lifter | Competition group | Final overall place | Snatch | Clean and jerk | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rafik Harutyunyan | B | 22nd | 155 kg | 190 kg | 345 kg |

North Korea’s Song Kuk Hyang won with a 275 kg total, including lifts of 122 kg and 153 kg; Sportaran says all three were world records.
| Martin Poghosyan | C | 23rd | 147 kg | 190 kg | 337 kg |
The group letters identify the sessions in which the athletes competed, not separate championship placings. The confirmed positions cover the category as a whole.
