Voicemod has added Star Wars quotes and sound effects under a licensing agreement with Disney, Variety said. Separate soundboards—collections of audio clips users can trigger—for the Mandalorian and Grogu are available on 30 October 2026.
The licensed clips expand a platform that already offers voice-changing tools and sound effects for gamers and creators. Voicemod says it has 5.7 million monthly active users.
GamesBeat said Voicemod uses superintelligence (SI) to change voices in real time, but the new soundboards play prerecorded audio without SI. The boards connect to Voicemod’s audio setup, letting users trigger clips while gaming, streaming or chatting. Twitch and Discord are among the platforms named for this use.
Variety said the soundboards did not appear to let users make their own voices sound like Din Djarin or Grogu.
Voicemod founder and CEO Jaime Bosch said the clips give users familiar sounds for joking with friends, reacting during streams and creating content. He said familiar sounds can create a sense of belonging.
The soundboards are sold as standalone purchases within Voicemod, GamesBeat said, with a lower price for premium members.

Variety said Disney previously licensed characters to OpenAI’s Sora video generator in 2025 as part of a $1 billion investment deal. That arrangement ended in 2026 after OpenAI decided to close Sora. Hasbro separately licensed character voices to ElevenLabs for advertisers to pay to use in marketing campaigns.
Voicemod plans additional Star Wars and Marvel soundboards for a later date.
