Paramount+ names Damla Dogan head of unscripted

Paramount+ has appointed Damla Dogan head of unscripted, overseeing reality programming, Deadline said on 30 October 2026. Dogan will report to Sarah Aubrey, head of Paramount+, Max Originals and International Programming.

The appointment was welcomed within the reality-programming industry, the outlet said, because Paramount+ offers producers another buyer. Before parent company Skydance took over, the service rarely bought original unscripted projects outside the brands and material it already owned.

From consultancy to appointment

Dogan had been consulting for Paramount+ for 9 months before the appointment. On 3 February 2026, The Streaming Wars described her consultancy as reporting to Jane Wiseman, then Paramount+’s head of originals.

During that work, Dogan worked closely with Wiseman on buying projects including Making Love and Team Moms.

Making Love is a dating show from Kinetic Content. Team Moms is a youth baseball series from ITV America and Skydance Sports, with Kim Kardashian as an executive producer. Team Moms had already launched in September 2026.
