Australian rock band Powderfinger announced 9 additional Encore concerts on October 30, 2026, expanding its 2027 reunion tour from 26 to 35 shows. The additions bring the tour to Hobart and Canberra and extend its finish to December 11, 2027, at Brisbane Showgrounds.
Billboard said the initial 26 concerts—more than 300,000 tickets—sold out within days. Vocalist Bernard Fanning, speaking for the band, said the extra shows followed the number of fans who missed out on tickets.
The band’s itinerary adds two nights each in Melbourne, Hobart, Perth and Brisbane, plus one in Canberra. These are the dates, venues and Australian support acts.

The band describes the Brisbane finale as an all-Brisbane-band celebration and a tribute to its hometown. Powderfinger also told Adelaide fans they had not been forgotten, without confirming another Adelaide concert.
Ticketmaster says artist, Live Nation and Face to Face presales open at 10 a.m. on 4 November 2026. Face to Face access covers only Hobart, Canberra and Perth. General sales open at 11 a.m. on 5 November 2026. All sale times follow the concert venue’s time zone, not the buyer’s location.
To qualify for the artist presale, fans must sign up at powderfinger.com before 6 p.m. Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) on 3 November 2026. Powderfinger will send presale links from 6 p.m. that day.
Live Nation members can access its presale by logging in and selecting “buy tickets”; no code is required. Fans can register at livenation.com.au/register. Face to Face members can sign up at facetofacetouring.com.au/sign and will receive an email before its presale.
Ticket holders need a My Ticketmaster account, and tickets are digital, accessible only through the Ticketmaster app. Ticketmaster says fans from Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory who already bought tickets for concerts in other cities can apply for a refund.
Separate Mandalorian and Grogu boards bring character clips to games, streams and chats, with further Star Wars and Marvel soundboards planned.
