Armenia completed the 2026 World Freestyle Wrestling Championships with one medal: Vazgen Tevanyan’s silver at 65 kg. The championships ended on 1 November in Astana, Kazakhstan.
In the 74 kg repechage, Narek Harutyunyan defeated Poland’s Kamil Rybicki before losing 2–15 to American James Green, ending his campaign on 1 November. Green’s technical superiority ended the bout after 5 minutes and 16 seconds. Green won world-championship bronze in 2015 and silver in 2017. Rybicki represented Poland in men’s freestyle wrestling at 74 kg at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
