Yemen displacement, Israel’s vote count, Haiti’s election delay
The UN humanitarian agency says fighting in Yemen has uprooted more than 281,000 people since August, while the World Food Programme warns that a funding shortfall would force aid cuts from November. Israel’s provisional election projections leave neither main bloc with a majority, with absentee-ballot checks still able to change seat totals. Haiti’s electoral council has pushed national voting back to July 2027 and introduced online voter registration.
